If you love discovering new bands to add to your musical repertoire, put Friday, April 1 on your calendar and head to Civic Plaza where from noon to 7:30pm. you'll have the opportunity to hear not a few, but 15 local bands bringing their best to impress the crowd.
The City of Albuquerque and Civic Plaza Presents are hosting the annual Local Band Showcase to bring attention to our amazing local talent.
This family-friendly event is a great place to share your love of music with other fans, enjoy new sounds and new tunes, and grab a bite from local food trucks like All Smoked Out BBQ, Street Food Sensations, Irrational Pie and Loretta's Lattes. Plus, there will be local beer and wine available for the grownups.

The event is free and will be held rain or shine. Friendly pets on leashes are also welcome. Paid parking is available at the Civic Plaza underground garage, the Convention Center and nearby lots or street parking.
