Food Truck Festival Serves Up Fare at Balloon Museum

It's time for the 2nd Annual Great New Mexico Food Truck Festival, featuring more than 25 trucks offering a wide variety of delicious foods from BBQ to Mediterranean, and everything in between. Add the allure of over 25 craft beers, and you have a "don't miss" event at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum on Saturday, April 9 from noon to 6pm.

The major challenge of the day will be choosing among the many delicious offerings and deciding on your favorites. Food truck vendors include: Basil's Home Cooking; Bill's BBQ and Kettle Corn; Big Dogs BBQ; Brooke's Carryout; Calle Ocho; Castaneda's Kitchen and Catering; Europe Roaming Kitchen, Fresco New Mexico; GOTTAHAVSUM; Hot Stuff Hawaiian Shave Ice; Kimo's Hawaiian BBQ; My Sweet Basil; O'Bean's Coffee Cruiser; Texas Roadside Diner; The Lunch Box, and many more. Beer vendors include: Monks; Rio Bravo; Ska Brewing; Sam Adams and many others. A new feature of the event is the Etsy arts and crafts area featuring over 20 booths offering unique, creative items for your home-and they make great gifts!

Live music, face painting and the opportunity to enjoy delicious food, sample new brews and enjoy family time on the expansive lawn at the Balloon Museum brings thousands to this popular event. Don't miss out-get in on the fun this year!

Your participation also offers the opportunity to support a great cause. Food Truck Festivals of America is proud to partner with Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico. Roadrunner has been serving New Mexico's hungry since 1980, and last year, distributed more than 30 million pounds of food and touched the lives of 70,000 hungry people through a statewide network of hunger-relief partners. With your help, you can make a difference. At the Great New Mexico Food Truck Festival, Roadrunner Food Bank will accept non-perishable food donations as well as cash donations to help alleviate hunger in our state.

On the day of the event tickets will be $10 at the door. For those foodies out there who just can't wait to start snacking, we've got a ticket for you! There will be a special iHeartMedia V.I.P. ticket which includes unlimited water, a free dessert, and (best of all) EARLY ENTRY at 11am.

Tickets are $5 in advance and are available online at foodtruckfestivalsofamerica.com/#!blank/lbu3a.
