Baked Goods The End is Nigh Hemp vetoes overturned, federal legalization looms New Mexico has enacted a law allowing for hemp research to be conducted at the state's universities and establishes a fund for hemp research, and another law which calls for the Department of Agriculture to issue licenses to grow industrial hemp for research purposes. Next US Farm Bill is expected to remove barriers to hemp production as well, removing New Mexico's economic lead.
