Get your freak-folk fix at Small Engine tonight

There's never enough dead tree space to hype all the terrific live music happening in Burque. For instance, there's a fab show tonight you won't read about in our print issue. Lonesome Leash is a new freak-folk project from Walt McClements of Dark Dark Dark, Why Are We Building Such a Big Ship? and the Panorama Jazz Band. Lonesome Leash performs tonight at Small Engine Gallery (1415 Fourth NW), along with Tapered, which features members of Dark Dark Dark, Deerhoof, A Hawk and a Hacksaw and Teetotum. The all-ages show starts at 9 p.m., and admission is $6. Check out Lonesome Leash's debut EP below.
