What Did You Play This Weekend?

I've been periodically checking the Playstation Store's Spring Fever sale every week, but up until Friday I hadn't seen anything that really tickled my fancy. This time around, though, it turns out that all of Q-Games' PixelJunk titles are up to half off (through today). I've played a bit of PixelJunk Eden in the past, and though I really loved the art style and the music, the controls never registered with me enough to dig into it too deeply. Enter PixelJunk Shooter. A twin stick shooter with a little extra control thrown in, the game balances the elements of movement, challenge, sound and image to create something immensely playable. Goodbye hours and hours.
