Trampled by Turtles in Colorado
Trampled by Turtles, a five-piece newgrass outfit from Duluth, Minn. are one of the genre’s foremost bands. They also put on a mean live show.
On Saturday, July 16 they played at the Solshine Festival in Winter Park, Colo., about an hour and a half from Denver. The hour-long show opened with the mournful ballad “New Orleans,” and closed with the fast-paced “Wait So Long.” The Alibi was on hand to photograph the gig.
