DJ Tahnee spins an all-vinyl Roulette
Old-school DJ and noise musician Tahnee Udero played Song Roulette with us this week. She has a serious holiday music fetish—specifically Halloween and Christmas—that makes me dig her shows even more. Hear Udero spin Christmas music with DJ Mello on KUNM’s Afternoon Freeform on Monday, Dec. 24, from 1:30-4 p.m. Listen online at kunm.org or tune your dial to 89.9 FM. Night owls can also tune in to Udero’s Christmas edition of Music to Soothe the Savage Beast on Tuesday, Dec. 25, from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Check out sound and video from her random tracks below.
Rock out with The Gracchi
If you’ve read about The Gracchi, it probably wasn’t in the Alibi. Former Editor in Chief Laura Marrich has played in the band since its inception, so the paper was ethically unable to cover the act, but now we can. Read all about it in The Gracchi Reunite at Garage & Wax. The group’s original lineup performs at Captain America’s fourth Garage and Wax Night. Check out video of Ashley Floyd proposing to Marrich below. Low Spirits • The Gracchi • Pan!c • Pumpin' for Jill • Riley Switch • Sat Dec 15 • 8 pm • $5 • 21+ • lowspiritslive.com

Flyer on the Wall: Beyer Redux
Outsider comic artist Mark Beyer originally created this art for a show at The Kosmos in August 2011. He was published in every issue of RAW Magazine during the publication’s 11-year run and contributed album and merch artwork for both John Zorn and Naked City. Gregg Araki loosely based his cult classic The Doom Generation on Beyer’s “Amy and Jordan” comic series. DJ Caterwaul recycles this art to hype a Friday night Low Life Happy Hour at Blackbird Buvette in this week’s Flyer on the Wall.
