There’s a lot to be said for rehashing psychedelic graphic design. While the ‘60s may have popularized a lot of questionable fashion and art—see tie-dye and lava lamps—a good, old-fashioned swirl is always in style. This carnation pink-and-black flyer captures all the hallucinatory glory of entheogens with none of the potentially negative side effects. It also advertises a 21-and-over Saturday night show at Sister (407 Central NW) featuring Los Angeles psych rock quintet Spindrift and garage / psych-rockers CanyonLands. The kaleidoscopic sound starts at 9 p.m. and admission is five bucks. (SAC)
