Bernalillo - Bernalillo
Bosque Brewing’s latest location is their most ambitious by far in terms of scale—approaching from the east, Bosque North looks like an aluminum-sided castle. The ambition has paid off in a big way, with spectacular mountain views and plenty of outdoor seating, along with a truly classy food menu. How about some mussels cooked in coconut milk with your beer? Or a turkey sandwich with Gruyere cheese and a tarragon aioli? Yeah, the breweries are really upping their food game lately. And we’re not mad.
Alibi recommends: Elephants on Parade, the seasonal brew, and the Thai mussels in coconut milk
Vibe: Lots of natural light, great views and outdoor seating—a perfect summer hangout spot.

Not only do these people serve thick, meaty bacon, dreamy globs of queso and hot, buttery biscuits—because that would most certainly be enough on its own—but The Range Café in Bernalillo also happens to keep things interesting at night. Step into their Lizard Rodeo Lounge for free live music three or four nights a week, a full-service bar, nice atmosphere and fine BLT. Thank you, Range people.

You’ll worry you’re lost the whole way out to the beautiful Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa, home of The Corn Maiden restaurant. The resort is a stone’s throw from Bernalillo but feels much, much farther from town. The views from the restaurant are unmatched (except by neighboring Prairie Star) and the luxurious Southwest ambience is stellar. Expect the food to be beautiful, too. Open until 10pm Tuesday through Saturday.
