Range Café
Do not leave the Range without ordering something involving bacon and queso, even if it means you have to get side dishes of them both. These people serve thick, meaty bacon and obviously understand the power of the dreamy, cheesy goop we call queso to transform simple breakfast items from ho-hum to hot damn! They’ve even rescued the humble bowl of oatmeal from perpetual breakfast boredom by parking a scoop of their fabulous housemade cinnamon ice cream on top of it. Don’t forget to take home a fabulous housemade tarte Tatin from the pastry case.

Fri-Sat: 7am-10pm (hours can change without notice)

Not only do these people serve thick, meaty bacon, dreamy globs of queso and hot, buttery biscuits—because that would most certainly be enough on its own—but The Range Café in Bernalillo also happens to keep things interesting at night. Step into their Lizard Rodeo Lounge for free live music three or four nights a week, a full-service bar, nice atmosphere and fine BLT. Thank you, Range people.
