The Most Compelling NBA Regular Season Ever

The NBA  trade deadline came and went and I still have no idea what the fuck is going to happen in June. The
Lakers are definitely stronger, and the Cavaliers should be. The Mavericks and Suns may have found their missing pieces, and the defending champions, the San Antonio Spurs, are still the team to beat. Yet, with all the shakeups, what was true before the trade deadline is still a fact now. The Western Conference is tough from top to bottom. While the East has three teams who could contend for the title, the West has as many as nine. The Denver Nuggets wouldn’t make the playoffs if they started today, but if they played in the East, they’d not only be in the payoffs, they’d have home court advantage in the first round. I’d like to hear who people think will have the best record when the regular season ends and/or who is going to win it all.

It’s Time to Howl

You’d better get on the Lobo Men’s Basketball bandwagon now while there’s still room. Since their loss against the University of Nevada Las Vegas on February 2, the Lobos have won six straight, including a nail biter on the road against Utah. The Lobos are back home at the Pit tomorrow night to face Mountain West Conference leading Brigham Young University.

Bowling in ‘Burque

The United States Bowling Congress Open Championships are happening at the Albuquerque Convention Center as we speak. Anyone can compete and 63,000 bowlers are expected to do just that. Head over to the C.C. to check it out.
