SETI Debate
Share ::
The discussion on other life existing in this endless universe of ours is not alien to our arid state. Today at 103 Regener Hall on UNM campus, two esteemed voices debate SETI, or the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, at 7 p.m. Hear differing perspectives from biologist Penelope Boston and The Albuquerque Astronomical Society Vice President David Blair on how likely the practice of SETI is to succeed in the foreseeable future. Moderating the debate is National Radio Astronomy Observatory Education Officer Judy Stanley, who will open the floor to audience participation following the discussion. For more, visit taas.org.
