Dan Aykroyd Will Be at Walgreens on Coors Signing Bottles of His Crystal Head Vodka at 4 P.M. on March 11

In case you didn’t know, Dan Aykroyd produces Crystal Head Vodka–a delicious brand of quadruple-distilled, triple filtered vodka packaged in a handsome skull-shaped bottle. He also has wine, if you prefer.

Mr. Aykroyd will be promoting his vodka in the flesh at Walgreens on Coors NW on Thursday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. Which Walgreens? There are a couple... He’ll probably be at the one with the swarm of people around it.

And ghosts? Dan Aykroyd is a believer in the paranormal. Fitting that his vodka looks like a crystal skull. Also fitting that his latest theatrical venture is a live-action production of Yogi Bear, which also sounds… scary. Scary good, I mean. If you go to Walgreens, pick me up some canned nuts and tell Dan hi.

So, I was at the stoplight at the intersection where this particular Walgreens is located (Coors and Sequoia). They have an electronic marquee with rotating messages: "Charmin, 2 for $6," "12 pack Pepsi, $2.99," etc. Then flashed, "Dan Aykroyd, Mar. 11, 4pm." I was like, "Guh wah??" There was no clarifying info...I thought it was someone's idea of a joke; a weird, not-really-that-funny joke. I guess Walgreens is the premier fine wine and spirits promotional venue of Albuquerque. What celebrity distiller wouldn't want to showcase their product amongst Metamucil and Snuggies?

For a hack actor of the past has to keep it going ! Tell him to go to the walgreens off central by UNM and do community service for the drunk indians and crack heads that we have in this town .With his claim to fame money.There are so many of them.What is he doing for me or us ? Nothing like so many so called famous people that dont need money or fame . An hes not funny any more, hes like so many. They laugh at them selves on how dumb there jokes are and you pay for it !Tell him to talk about his buddy john belushi and what killed him for money ? METH? DRINKING? FAME IM sure it was worth it all ? been there done that in hollywood!
