So, I used the fancy new parking meters lined along Central Downtown for the first time yesterday. As I was struggling to slide my dollar bill into the slot, the machine made a funny sound—something like squink , or maybe squeeep , or perhaps a squaaaaaaaaeeeaaahh . Something like that. Anyway, I pulled my bill out, and a second crumpled up dollar bill slid out of the slot . Bonus! I like these machines.
