Thankfully, my wife just reminded me of a Dutch expression that’s very similar but much more creative: “Het is alsof een engeltje op m’n tong piest.” Translation: “It’s as if a tiny angel were peeing on my tongue.” This saying is only used after sampling an especially delicious beverage. I’m going to see if I can spark its debut into idiomatic English.

You can help, too. Example: “I love fresh orange juice. It’s as if a tiny angel were peeing on my tongue.” See? It’s easy.
