Once again, it’s time for some shameless self-promotion. I’ll be discussing the Alibi ’s recent haiku contest this Thursday, Sept. 21, at 3 p.m. on KUNM 89.9 FM on the show “Freeform” with Travis Parkin. I’ve picked out some of the best haiku from the current contest as well as some golden oldies from years past. Some local poets will be reading them live. I’m really looking forward to this. Even if you hate haiku, you should still tune in if only to make fun of my California accent.
