Can you believe this whole Foley scandal? There’s lots of talk, of course, about how a potential widespread Republican coverup would benefit the Democrats. At least one right-wing publication is calling for House Speaker Dennis Hastert’s resignation. Other right-wingers are pushing a conspiracy theory that the Democrats somehow planned this as an October Surprise before the November election.The Republicans do something stupid/evil, but the Dems are responsible. Hmm. Where have I heard that before?
