Here in Bernalillo County, we’re used to chaotic, poorly run elections. So maybe it shouldn’t come as a surprise that at least one precinct, No. 603 up in the Heights, apparently ran out of ballots this morning. The heavily Republican precinct has more than 2,000 registered voters but only got 150 ballots from the County Clerk’s office. Conspiracy? Who knows? More ballots arrived to the precinct polling station within an hour, but if Heather Wilson loses by a slim margin, there’s sure to be some serious squawking.
