Will it be pretty? Will it be rich? Will it be like Godzilla, only more likely to destroy the world? Just kidding. Cheney’s daughter (Mary) is pregnant! Or, as headlines are reading, “Cheney’s Gay Daughter is Pregnant.” This is, of course, likely to ignite the same-sex marriage debate again, perhaps giving the GOP a more gay-friendly face (what that looks like, I have no idea), which could be important come 2008. In its most basic terms though, it just means we’re adding one more life to humanity’s population of about 6.5 billion. Yes, the world should prepare to open wide its arms and make ready for another tiny, beautiful quail hunter.
