There’s a number of great things going on this weekend. Everyone is coming out of their holiday hiatus and back into the "real world." I’m still tired from all the hubbub—pass the caffeine.

Bye-Bye Warehouse 21 —This is it. The last show at Warehouse 21. Their last, last show was cancelled due to the weather and rescheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. Brian Botkiller, Victimas, Torn Between Worlds, Tomas Rivera formerly with Battles End, Trichomes, Grinkai and Cherry Tempo will take the stage while hard working volunteers start to tear down the insulation. It’s really happening this time—for reals.

Special Fun Dance —Get your dance on at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center (4909 Hawkins NE) on Saturday, Jan. 6, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. No experience is necessary and they promise lots of fun and laughter. I think it will be square dancing … since the title of the woman who sent me the e-mail is "Publicity & Rejuvenation of Square Dancing." Bring the kids! 323-7098.

New Mexico Women in Film and Television—Come watch the documentary, The Lost Garden: The Life and Cinema of Alice Guy-Blanch, about the first women filmmaker at The Cell on Monday, Jan. 8, at 6 p.m. Admission is free for members and $15 for the general public.
