Even though I’m thirty now and I don’t skate too much anymore, I still take notice of good skate spots when I see them. (I guess it’s the skater in my blood that will always be there.) Anyways, the city just put in a little skatepark with a few miniramps and curbs and such in downtown’s Wells Park neighborhood. They (at least temporarily) kicked out the crackheads and re-landscaped the park with it’s big, beautiful cottonwoods, located at 1-40 and 3rd (next to the new dog park). Now that there are some ramps in my hood I just might have to start skating more often again.
