I’m annoyed that I missed Bill Richardson’s appearance on “Meet the Press” last Sunday. In this morning’s edition, Slate has a mean article about the awfulness of our guv’s performance. I couldn’t get the video to play on MSNBC’s website, but I did read the transcript. This is just painful. For Christ’s sake, Bill, I realize you’re a big fish in a tiny puddle here in New Mexico, but on the campaign trail you’re a tiny minnow in the Pacific. Please consider the possibility that Tim Russert isn’t going to let you wiggle your way out of tough questions about your record in the same way the Alibi and the Journal and Tribune and the New Mexican regularly do. Do some homework. For starters, consider rereading your own autobiography.
