Dateline: England— A woman who ripped off her ex-boyfriend’s left testicle and then tried to swallow it has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison. The Liverpool Crown Court heard that 37-year-old Geoffrey Jones had ended his long-term but “open relationship” with Amanda Monti, 24, toward the end of May last year. The pair remained on good terms, however. On May 30, she picked him up from a party and the pair gathered for drinks with friends at Mr. Jones’ house. An argument broke out after Jones allegedly refused Monti’s sexual advances. A physical struggle followed. In his statement, Mr. Jones said Monti grabbed his genitals and “pulled hard.” He added: “That caused my underpants to come off and I found I was completely naked and in excruciating pain.” The court heard that a friend saw Monti put Mr. Jones’ testicle into her mouth and try to swallow it. She choked and spat it back into her hand before the friend grabbed it and gave it back to Jones, saying, “That’s yours.” Doctors were unable to reattach the organ. In a letter to the court, Monti said she was sorry for what she had done. “It was never my intention to cause harm to Geoff and the fact that I have caused him injury will live with me forever,” she wrote, adding, “I am in no way a violent person.”

Dateline: Wisconsin— Police in Oshkosh have taken a 17-year-old into custody in connection with the robbery of a streetcorner lemonade stand. The incident began last Tuesday when 11-year-old Austin Cundy was selling cold drinks near his home in the 800 block of Knapp Street. Cundy said he saw two teenagers on bicycles eyeballing him as they rode past. About 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, he told police, one of the teenage boys punched him, shoved him off his chair and took a plastic container with $20 in it. Also taken was Cundy’s wallet, which held his library card and student ID. “It makes me mad it happened,” Austin told CBS affiliate WFRV-5. “I was going to save that money for camping and then buy my mom a birthday present.” Sgt. Steve Sagmeister told The Northwestern officers went to the home of the 17-year-old after receiving a citizen tip. Officers arrested the boy and recovered the plastic container, but not the money. The teen was booked into theWinnebago County Jail on suspicion of robbery and physical abuse of a child. Several local businesses have contacted Cundy, offering to let him set up his stand on their property.

Dateline: Tennessee —A pastor at the Gospel Baptist Church who also works as a Christian radio station host in the Tennessee/Virginia border town of Bristol has been charged with indecent exposure and DUI. According to an article in last Saturday’s Johnson City Press, 58-year-old Thomas Dale Tester—known to radio listeners as Tommy Tester—allegedly pulled up in a blue 2007 Toyota Camry and offered to give Johnson City police officers oral sex when they arrived at 308 S. Belmont Street to investigate a report of indecent exposure. Tester, who witnesses say was wearing a skirt at the time, then reportedly got out of his car at the Belmont Car Wash and urinated in a wash bay in front of several children. A search of Tester’s vehicle yielded a half-empty, pint-sized bottle of vodka and an empty container of Oxycodone on the passenger floorboard. According to police reports, Tester admitted to police he had been drinking and subsequently failed field sobriety tests. Al Morris, the owner of WZAP-AM where Tester was employed, released a statement saying Tester denies all the allegations and was “scared to death and didn’t know what he’d said or what he’d admitted to or anything else.”

Dateline: Georgia— Cash-strapped East Point car dealership owner Rolandas Milinavicius, apparently fed up with his two employees’ frequent requests for a raise, responded last Thursday morning by shooting them both in the head. “He told us that he was under a lot of stress,” East Point police Capt. Russell Popham told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Unfortunately, he decided to take his anger out with violence.” Milinavicius, 38, started RM Auto International two years ago after moving from his native Lithuania. Both of his employees—28-year-old Martynas Simokaitis and 25-year-old Inga Contreras—were also from Lithuania. “As I understand, the employees were not really happy about the pay, and they had questioned him about it over time,” Popham said. “That morning, he said he just snapped.” Milinavicius is now charged with two counts of murder.
