If your music could be described as a cryptozoological monster (e.g. Sasquatch) which one would you choose and why? The Cornish Owl Man of England because he plays drums in our band. The Cornish Owlman (sometimes "Owl Man") is one of the lesser known cryptids, a partially feathered man-sized owl with pointed ears and clawed feet. He is a silvery gray color with slanting red eyes. What’s the best part about being at one of your live shows? Watching the Owl Man play drums. What is your favorite type of New Mexican food, and would you consider going on a dinner date with a Yeti (if they offered to pay)? New Mexican food? Pizza. Dining with a Yeti? Tea and scones. If Bigfoot wanted to sit in with your band for a show, or else he would eat you, what instrument would you put him on and why? Like the 800-pound gorilla, Bigfoot sits in where ever he wants …

What is your favorite colour, and how does it apply to your music? Right now, my favorite colour is pink. It’s very sexy, and nasty … that might explain why I’m horny all the time. What are looking forward to the most in coming back to Albuquerque? Albuquerque is like a second home to us now. Our brother Leonard really plugged us in to what was happening around town the last time we were there and we’re looking forward to seeing all the friends we made. If you had to tame a raging Yeti with one of your songs, which one would you choose and why? Definitely "Moolah" from the Yellow EP, hands down. Change the “she” references in the song to “he” and its like it was written for a raging Yeti. I mean, he’s fair, he’s rare, and he’s got love in his hair … or is that matted feces? What is the best part about experiencing your band live? Well, after the initial “What the hell is this?” reaction, it would probably be the full body orgasm that ensues. If you had to add a cryptozoological creature to your band, what creature would you choose, and what instrument would they play? That’s easy. A three-toed sloth named “Puddin’.” And he would play the washboard.

If you had to battle a monster, would you rather pick the Giant Squid with its many tentacles and obvious disc-scratching potential, or the Abominable Snowman, who is known for his on-stage theatrics and crowd popularity? It does not matter who the opponent is … I have the skills, talent and showmanship—I’m the diva beeeatch ! You have a pretty awesome haircut. What inspired the look, and how does it relate to your music? It’s all electronic rock ’n’ roll, baby. What are you looking forward to the least about coming to Albuquerque? The most? I love Albuquerque, people are amazing and fun. In fact, one of my best memories was when I met DJ Chris de Jesus. He was bringing me out to play at his club. Earlier during the day we went out to a Mexican restaurant and there were mariachis playing. I wanted to hear “Sin Ti” … they started playing and I got up on the table and started singing “Sin Ti,” and it was no "American Idol." But everybody was having a good laugh. And later that evening at the club there were whole bunch of kids who wanted to hear me play but were not able to get in because they were underage … so the owner put out speakers in the patio and the kids were so delighted—it was amazing.

What is your favorite cryptozoological creature and why? How ’bout good ol’ Sasquatch? Can’t go to wrong with that guy. When you were a kid, what did you dress up as for Halloween, and how does that relate to your music today? I’ve always had an affinity for such classic horror show figures as vampires, werewolves, etc. I did the vampire thing fairly often … I still do. Guess it suits the lifestyle and takes little preparation on Halloween. I suppose it relates to my music in the obvious ways … whatever those may be. What can the audience expect from your live show, and do you feel that your music is best experienced live? Our music is definitely best experienced live. It is our intention and purpose to give people something that is going to affect them in a profound and memorable way. More than just a rock ’n’ roll show … but definitely a fucking rock ’n’ roll show. Too bad we can’t afford to travel with more visual stimulus as of yet. You know … clowns, animals, tractors, explosives, etc.—someday. We do travel with candy and duct tape. How would you describe your music to a Yeti, who has probably never heard it before? Black and purple … angels and devils …

Have you ever met the Honey Island Swamp Monster? I thought she said her name was Susan? Describe how you would like people to view your music. As a rip-roaring ride full of life and love. What can people expect at your live shows? Would you consider yourselves to be a better live or recorded band? The typical answer with most bands is "we’re a high-energy band," but we’re people, too. We fuck up and act goofy. Really we want our audience to have fun. Bottom line. If you had to go on a date with either the Yeti or Nessie (the Loch Ness Monster), who would you take, and how far would you hope to get? That’s easy … Nessie because she’s already wet.

Do you choose to stay inside because of all the scary crypto-monsters like the Boogeyman, Owl Man and the Abominable Snowman? Yeah, we’ve always been horrified of those beasts. We were gonna name the album The Boogeyman Ain’t Got Shit on Me , but decided Staying Inside would be better. If you had to describe your music as a kind of street sign, which one would you choose and why? Hot and Sexy Avenue … ’nuff said. If you were on a dating show, and behind a curtain sat a Yeti, Bigfoot, The Giant Earthworm and Pamela Anderson, who would you choose and why? Female Bigfoot ’cause she’s the only one without hepatitis. What’s the best part about going to one of your live shows? It’s a killer rock show. It’s fun jammin’ with your best friends and playin’ for people. So if we come to your town definitely come hang with us.

If you had to pick either a Sasquatch or a Yeti to sing backup in your band, who would you choose? Well, all five band members sing, so we’re not really looking for more singers. Mythical creatures would do a good job, though, I’m sure … maybe more like a Centaur, or a music blog/zine writer who isn’t a pretentious, self-important prick … those are pretty rare, though. How would you describe the experience of hearing your band live? The experience of hearing our band live is hard to put into words. The words "white-hot rock ’n’ roll explosion" come to mind … as well as the feeling of having your rectum blown to pieces. Take your pick. Let’s say you asked the Loch Ness Monster out on a date. Where would you take her, and what would you wear for the special occasion? We would probably just stay at home and watch an On Demand movie, maybe something with Gary Sinise. I’m thinking sweatpants. If you had to describe your music as a type of food, what food would you choose and why? We are from Louisiana, so probably Cajun food, which is the best in the world. It is, however, made from absolute garbage ingredients. What are you most looking forward to in Albuquerque? You have this great 24-hour restaurant that we hit up last time. I cant think of the name, but it was incredible. It’s a cool town, for sure. See you soon.
