This morning at about 8 a.m., passengers aboard a balloon participating in the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta took a turn for the worse. The balloon got caught on a power line just above I-25. The pilot, in an attempt to free the balloon, threw a rope down to a below truck and began to reel. The rope broke, sending the crew violently back up, causing the balloon to sway and a woman to fall overboard. Read the complete story from the Associated Press here.
