A few months ago, I was up in Denver visiting a friend. We wanted to spend a day out window shopping and decided (due mainly to the fact that I had never been on one before and was slightly terrified of the idea) to take her scooter.Window shopping turned into real shopping, which eventually led to grocery shopping. And so right before dusk we found ourselves in the position of having far more bags than we had arms, legs and awkward resting places to hold our newly acquired luggage. Somehow, we made it work, and we tottered home with wrists bearing engravings from plastic bags. It was stupid … but also kind of fabulous.But these folks make our little adventure seem like a piece of cake.
