Lost Luckies
I stole this from the Pajaman Men’s MySpace page ... I’m sure they don’t mind.

Here’s the part of the week where I bitch about the weather and that there’s not enough (or too much) to do this weekend. Then I throw a webgame or two up on the blog to replace the lack of events meeting the Lost Luckies criteria and we all start counting down the seconds until work is finally over.

But I’m not going to do that this week. I’m going to give you a couple more events to cram into your packed, exciting, life-affirming weekend. Yes, I am. So there.

Rubber Chicken Diner

There are quite a few theater events going on this weekend (
The Pajama Men at the Stove, Revolutions, True West at the Vortex, multiple improv acts at The Box) and there’s another tonight at The Cell, Rubber Chicken Diner. Starting at 8 p.m., local acts—including Shakespearian actors, fiddle plays and comedic ranters—take the stage for a night of finger lickin’ good entertainment. Call 766-9412 for reservations right now if you want to go.

Green Wheels of ABQ!

Green Wheels is a volunteer community bicycle organization dedicated to promoting safe, fun cycle culture in the Duke City. This Sunday, Jan. 20, the folks of Green Wheels will set up shop at the Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice (202 Harvard SE) from 1 to 2 p.m. and invite everyone to bring their bikes over and learn some skills. The events is free, but they won’t turn away kind donations.
