CNN is reporting Sen. John McCain’s campaign sees Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa as essentially lost. The plan (and it’s a crazy one) is to try to steal Pennsylvania from Sen. Barack Obama. The latest polls in the Keystone State have Obama ahead by double digits. Democratic Sen. John Kerry won Pennsylvania in 2004, and Al Gore got the state’s 21 electoral votes in 2000. The strategy doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense given how far ahead Obama is in the polls, but we’ve still got two weeks before election day. McCain better start winning hearts and minds ASAP.
