Poor Susan Lucci. The staple of ABC’s "All My Children" had to take a pay cut to renew her contract. She’s not the only one. Everyone on "All My Children" had to accept less money because ratings and advertising revenue are way down."Days of Our Lives" is hurting too. As this article explains, struggling car dealerships are spending less on advertising and they are a key revenue base for daytime TV.I never really watched "Days" but when I was sick in elementary, middle and high school, I would watch "All My Children." The show wouldn’t be the same without Lucci. Let’s hope she gets a raise soon.
