On "The Late Show" with David Letterman, Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin joked he was "thinking about getting a Filipino mail-order bride at this point … or a Russian one."That off-handed remark sparked a furious response from Philippine Sen. Ramon Revilla who says Baldwin’s comments were insensitive and ignorant. He also noted that the Philippines has a law against mail-order brides. "Let him try to come here in the Philippines and he’ll see mayhem," Revilla told the press.No word yet on whether any Russian officials were put off by Baldwin’s remarks.
