Like Mitochondrial Eve, that plucky little plumber Mario has spawned a near-incalculable number of offspring. Tweet Force bows mightily to the platforming progenitor but still manages to be entertaining in its own quirky way. You play a chicken seeking escape from a seemingly unending parade of platform-bedecked levels. There’s not much jumping power in those skinny bird legs of yours, but you are capable of laying explosive eggs, which will launch you skyward. Makes sense. About as much sense as a mushroom-eating plumber fighting giant lizards.
