With an acoustic guitar, washboard and snare drum, Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band makes thematically lowbrow songs with titles like "Mama’s Fried Potatoes," "Worn Out Shoe" and "Your Cousin’s on COPS." The Brown County, Ind. band sounds like a mesh of old-tyme Delta blues and rockabilly–right before early rock and roll–that you might have found in some rural juke in the ’40s. This big damn band performs on Sunday night at 9 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at Santa Fe Brewing Company. Tickets are $13 in advance and $16 at the door.
