I’ve enjoyed the work of Nick Cave since freshman year of college when I watched Wings of Desire with my older, cooler, chain smoking roommate from New Jersey. The video for “Fifteen Feet of Pure White Snow” is, in my opinion, the best piece of Nick Cave footage since Wim Wenders captured him. In addition to a ‘70s-looking ocher tone and spiffy fashions, this music video has dance: interpretive dance, line dance and even a dancing cameo from the weirdly elegant Jarvis Cocker. Plus the song is a murder ballad. This is the complete A/V package!
