Competing against newspapers across the U.S., the Weekly Alibi placed first in the nation for food writing and lifestyle/entertainment page editing. The National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest geve us the nods. (The NFPW is a nationwide organization of professional women and men in the press and media fields.) The Alibi also secured second place awards for publication editing and section editing. This comes on heels of sweeping the New Mexico Press Women Communications Contest with 12 awards.
