Albuquerque independent arts organization Indie Q has teamed up with the Albuquerque Film Office to present a night of local short films at the historic KiMo Theatre in Downtown Albuquerque. The free event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight (Monday, Sept. 20). Films to be screened include “Never Land,” “The Journal of Mr. Willaby” and “Pascal’s Bullet.” The first film is a modern-day retelling of J.M. Barrie’s childhood classic Peter Pan . The second is the story of a pre-teen foster child who goes to work for an African-American war hero and discovers a future-predicting journal. The final is a crime drama about a dying killer confessing all to an intrepid lawman. All three come courtesy of Albuquerque filmmakers Joshua Sallach and James Kwan.
