Alibi Midnight Movie Madness returns to Guild Cinema for a brand new year of cult movie awesomeness. We’re starting out 2011 with some anime action. This Friday and Saturday, it’s Evangelion 1.0: We Are (Not) Alone . The sci-fi action gets flying Friday at 10 p.m. and Midnight and Saturday at 11:30 p.m. only. Next Friday and Saturday, Jan. 21 and 22, you can follow it up with Evangalion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance. These films are part of the continuing rebuild of Hideako Anno’s seminal aliens-vs.-mecha series “Evangelion” and are a must for Japanese animation fans.
