One of the most distinguishing aspects of former "The Price Is Right" host Bob Barker’s legacy wasn’t his orange-sprayed skin or his quintessential game show voice, but his simple request to "have your pets spayed or neutered" at the conclusion of each episode. Helping Mr. Barker support animal rights is local activist group Babes and Bullies, which is hosting the Spay-Ghetti and No Balls Lunch at Scalo Northern Italian Grill (3500 Central SE). Today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $20 to $25 dollars—depending on whether you want booze—gets you a pasta dinner with proceeds benefitting the B&B’s pit bull advocacy and community outreach efforts.
