Combine that with a big city, and you have David Mamet’s comedy Sexual Perversity in Chicago . Celebrating the 35 th anniversary of the show’s Broadway premiere, Prodigal Sons Productions is staging a multimedia performance of the 34-scene piece. The plot centers around two bachelors, Danny and Bernie, who unearth amorous revelations during the sweltering summer of ’76. Prodigal’s Executive Artistic Director Scott Schuster promises vintage concert film from the likes of Hall & Oates and Neil Diamond, as well as clips from movies like Rocky to give the production a feeling of "period nostalgia." The performance takes place at The Filling Station.
