George R.R. Martin is a living legend to New Mexicans interested in sci-fi/fantasy literature. (The New York Times best-selling author penned A Song of Fire and Ice , the series that inspired HBO’s "Game of Thrones.") But Martin isn’t the only prolific, mystically minded scribe in the Land of Enchantment. A book signing and talk involving four authors from a short story anthology he edited will be held at Page One Books (11018 Montgomery NE) today at 1:30 p.m. Down These Strange Streets delves into dark urban fantasy. The authors in question are all local—M.L.N. Hanover, John Maddox Roberts, Melinda Snodgrass and S.M. Stirling. The talk is free.
