Does the New Mexico Congressional Delegation—Sen. Heinrich, Sen. Udall, Rep. Lujan, Rep. Haaland, and Rep. Torres-Small—along with Chairman Steve Pearce of the Republican Party of New Mexico, local elected leaders, Clergy, and local journalists at the ABQ Journal, KOB-4, KOAT-7, KRQE-13, the Weekly Alibi, the Daily Lobo simply lack the focus, the resources, the bandwidth to keep up with Donald Trump’s B.S.?These elected leaders and journalists need to stop using public relations tactics from the 1990s and join the 21st century Information Age.The New Mexico delegation is being poorly served by loyalists and party hacks, sweating the next election rather then defending reality.In the past two days, Trump has:a.) Proposed eliminating methane emissions from the oil and gas industryb.) Halted aid to Ukraine that would be used to oppose Russian aggression.c.) Stopped giving automatic citizenship to children born to US military families serving overseas.d.) Announced that he is the best thing to ever happen to Puerto Rico.e.) Announced that Fox News is no longer working for him, because it had a cordial interview with a Democrat.f.) Offered to pardon his aides if they broke any laws to build his wall.g.) Diverted money from FEMA to fund his wall, at the start of hurricane season.h.) Had a melt down over the size of crowds coming to hear Elizabeth Warren.The wheels have come off his cart. This doesn’t even include his threat to order all US companies out of China, bizarre lies at the G7, along with daily tantrums and emotional meltdowns.
