President Bush and other leading Republicans are bending over backwards to paint lobbyist Jack Abramoff as being entangled with both political parties. This is a stretch. He's a Republican lobbyist whose biggest recipients were Republican politicians. If Abramoff cuts a deal with federal investigators, which is looking more and more likely, the Republican party could finally be exposed for the corrupt organ it truly is.
