The last few weeks, there have been a number of rumors about the fate of Pearl’s Dive (509 Central NW, 244-9405), one of the best Downtown locations to grab some good grub, a smooth libation and a killer seat on one of their two patios. Unfortunately, yesterday one of the rumors was confirmed by Pearl herself, saying the last day of business for the bustling bar will be next Friday, March 10. An as-yet unknown buyer is purchasing the place, to do lord-knows-what with it. Do yourself a favor and stop on by sometime in the next seven days for a plate of French fries, a portabella quesadilla and a goodbye. So long, Pearl, we’ll miss ya.
