A new exhibit about the Rio Grande opens this weekend at UNM’s Maxwell Museum of Anthropology http://www.unm.edu/~maxwell/. The Smithsonian traveling exhibit explores the traditional cultures that have been around here long enough to fully appreciate the importance of preserving our precious river. The opening this Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature a range of live music, activities and special events. Come on down and support the watery lifeline that makes Burque possible.
