A horned poppy in bloom. Blooms last only one day, very delicate and not sold in local nurseries. (I bought mine from a guy named Carmine in Corrales.) I now have one in yellow (as shown) and one in orange. They grow very big and bushy and after the flower dies it leaves behind a "horn" full of seeds and very cool looking. Plant gets about 4 feet tall!
