I totally hate the low-rent pop slut image and music of the Pussycat Dolls, but I’ve just learned that other people hate them enough to take action: Recently the toy company Hasbro was set to make a line of dolls based on the Pussycat Dolls. Fortunately, a non-profit called Dads & Daughters began a letter writing campaign and last week Hasbro halted plans to move forward on making the Pussycat Doll dolls, which would have been marketed to girls as young as six years old.
