The Maize Maze— Make the journey to the Maize Maze at the Rio Grande Community Farm before it closes for the season on Oct. 28.

Halloween Spookshow (With Spooks!)— The Guild Cinema and the Alibi team up for another Midnight Movie Madness session. Tonight and tomorrow at 10:30 p.m., watch House on Haunted Hill starring the king of the scary screen Vincent Price presented in original Emerg-o! vision. If you die of fright during the show, you’ll be entitled to $100,000 in life insurance benefits.

Williams’ World Festival— The Fusion Theatre Company’s Tennessee Williams festival is in its final weekend. Tonight, tomorrow and Sunday, check out the Southwest premier of Mister Paradise, The Fat Man’s Wife and Adam and Eve on a Ferry —three one-acts in one night. The shows start at 8 p.m. and tickets are $22 for general admission and $17 for students/seniors. Tonight there will be a free screening of Sweet Bird of Youth at 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday there will be a free screening of Tennessee Williams’ South at 11:30 a.m.

If You Love MAGIC: The Gathering— Then you had best be headed to the Dreamblade 1K Tournament this Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. (Psst … grand prize is $500 and mad props.)

How to Make a ‘Zine— MAP21, Albuquerque’s mentorship collective to promote youth art, is showing a free documentary movie about what a ‘zine is and how to make one at the Blue Dragon Coffeehouse at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22. For more info, call 266-0852.
