I thought they both did pretty lousy jobs at the debate last night—stiff, awkward, elusive. Heather probably won, but her stylized delivery often came off–to me at least–as both smug and insincere. Patsy goofed up on several answers, and she just didn’t seem all that sharp or articulate. Still, the most telling part of the evening was when Patsy asked Heather why she thinks George W. Bush is a good president, and Wilson repeatedly dodged the question . Hilarious. It’s down to the wire. Madrid might not be the perfect candidate, but she’s giving Wilson the best race she’s ever had.
