Lost Luckies

You’re gonna need it.
You’re gonna need it.

Not much new to report for the weekend, given that most of us good ol' Americans will be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday. And, given that a former Lobo will be playing, I imagine most of Albuquerque will be tuned in.

Ahem ... go Bears!

Rummage Sale!—Don't bother driving around for garage sales this weekend, they have all converged onto one location: The Albuquerque Garden Center. Tools, books, dishes, games, jewelry, electronic ... the list goes on. The sale is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you need more info, call 296-6020.

Duet for One to Benefit the National MS Society—This Sunday's performance (2/4) of Duet for One, written by Tom Kempinski and directed by Paul Ford, at Sol Arts Performance Space will benefit the National MS Society. The play is about a concert violinist who contracts MS and how her world is changed. The performance starts at 2 p.m. and tickets are $10 general, $8 students/seniors. Call 244-0049 for reservations. (Much better than the Super Bowl.)
