Of course they did this study in Switzerland. No one in America would ever follow thousands of pot-smoking and non-pot-smoking teenagers to find out how buds affected their lives.

Accordingly, kids on pot (and only pot, not cigarettes) were “more socially driven … significantly more likely to practice sports and they have a better relationship with their peers.” (Maybe because stoners are less annoying when you’re also stoned?)

Also, though smokers are more likely to skip class, they have the same level of good grades, says the study. (What does that say about the Swiss school system? You don’t really need to attend to get by? That’s high school everywhere.)

There is no recent study on how marijuana affects working adults. But cross your fingers.
