I like looking at recipes, but I’m not much for cooking. I can’t stand pumpkin pie, but I love spicy pumpkin soup . Go figure. And of course, since I like them, Wikipedia tells me pumpkins are fruit . No lie, every “vegetable” I like turns out to be a fruit. While I’m at it, I used to enjoy the word “punkinhead.” But most slang words I like turn out to be crappy racist terms. According to the online urban dictionary , the seemingly sweet “pumpkinhead” is a “derogatory term used to refer to a person of obvious Polish or Russian decent.” Great.
